The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for an immediate full-time position at our downtown Little Rock office. The role involves handling data entry and other accounting tasks to ensure efficient management and processing of accounts receivable transactions.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating bookkeeping databases, recording and tracking payments, reconciling customer statements, and responding to customer inquiries. The clerk will also print invoices, receipts, and reports, file accounts receivable documents, and communicate with clients to update payment or contact information. Additional duties include scanning, emailing, or faxing accounting documents, assisting with customer orders for legal notices and obituaries, and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of company information.

Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, experience in customer service, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and 10-key calculators. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of clerical and accounts receivable experience. A background check will be required for this position. This is a safety-sensitive full-time, 40-hour-per-week role, Monday through Friday.
