Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Senior Payroll Coordinator to provide effective management of the payroll functions required for timely payment of all employees, including associated benefits; ensuring compliance of federal and state reporting; and performing special payroll processing activities.
PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts and state approved charter and private schools in Washington. Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED and increasingly responsible job-related experience in area of payroll, finance, or human resources
- Job related experience in a complex organization, state governmental organization, or municipal agency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in WesPac/Qmlativ or other large mainframe accounting system
- Experience with word processing and complex spreadsheets
- Experience with payroll taxes, timesheets and/or large volume spreadsheet reconciliation
- Department of Retirement Systems knowledge and/or experience
- Beginning-to-end payroll process experience
