Assistant Controller

The Herrick Corporation, a leading structural steel fabricator and erector, has an immediate opening for an Assistant Controller. Potential for growth into the Controller position. Candidate should have 5+ years accounting experience in construction and/or manufacturing. Experience should include all phases of accounting (A/R, Billings, A/P, P/R, Job Costing, G/L, and financial statement preparation). Candidate must be flexible and undertake various accounting department tasks as assigned. Experience with accounting software and Excel required. Cognos, eCMS, and inventory system experience helpful. Should be able to demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical skills, and have excellent communication skills. Minimum BS in accounting or related field. CPA preferred. Excellent benefit package including profit sharing plan.
