The City of Motley is accepting applications to fill a position for a full-time Clerk-Treasurer.
Duties include: Performing clerical work to support the daily administration of the City and management of assigned department; exercises overall and direct responsibility for several areas such as centralized finance & accounting functions; risk management; legal notices; document management & recordkeeping; reporting; elections; licenses & permits; and customer service.
Starting pay for this position is $32.69 an hour. Benefits include a $1 shift differential for hours worked between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am, 12 paid holidays, PTO, health insurance, dental insurance, short-term disability, and life insurance for employee, spouse, and dependents.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma/GED; Associate's degree in accounting or related program; previous administrative or office experience including use of typical computing software (word processing, spreadsheet, etc.); Minnesota Certified Municipal Clerk (MCMC) designation or ability to attend and successfully complete training within three years of start date; valid Minnesota Class D driver's license.
