Lecturer Duties:
- (20%): Apply excellent written and verbal communication skills to teach undergraduate course in the field of accounting. Accountant duties
(80%): Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting documentation to complete the following:
- Internal financial reporting/analysis;
- Auxiliary financial reporting and analysis;
- Student AR analysis – cohort tracking, payment plan analysis, policy/procedure, updates/maintenance;
- Tuition/fee revenue analysis – including section density, course profitability; Serve as accounting liaison to administrative and academic units; act as the first point of contact for questions and inquiries, respond in a professional and collegial manner;
- Assist in formulating and implementing resolutions to problems relative to accounting records and reports;
- Create routine and custom reports for management; Analyze and reconcile accounts;
- Perform a variety of standard and complex accounting functions;
- Prepare departmental collection reports, vendor vouchers, travel vouchers, requisitions, journal entries, salary/wage transfers and any other accounting entries necessary.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Accounting
