Sodexo  Healthcare is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager 3 to primarily to support Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas NV. This Operations Manager position is a Regional Operations Support (ROSI) position. 

 

As a ROSI the selected candidate will be eligible to post to permanent Sodexo positions.

 

Sunrise is a growing acute care facility expanding to 800 beds by next year.  HCA client has a large focus on labor metrics and management with a primary focus on driving patient satisfaction while reducing cost.  The food operations at this location consist of 1 main cafeteria, patient tray service, a Doctor's lounge that does about 100 meals a day, a Starbucks coffee and catering operations with a total MV of 6 million dollars.

 

In this hands on role, the  Food Operations Manager 3 is the number 2 will support GM in the running of the day to day operation to include staff development, training and customer service, in addition the Food Operations Manager 3 will support the GM as with a cafe remodel, expanded retail service points, implementation of Service Depot and restructuring labor within Collective Bargaining Agreement to drive metrics during fluctuating volume periods.  Employees are on client payroll while management and clinical support are Sodexo team members.  Prior experience in health care dining, financial reporting and excellent customer service skills is preferred.

Assumes General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Has direct client contact on day-to-day issues. Develops and Implements plans under the direction of a GM 5 or higher. Manages through managers. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.

 

 

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
