HRIS Specialist (Job Number:428394)

Description:

This position will serve as a member of the Shared Services Center (SSC) HR Programs team. The role provides support, research and maintenance of the HR Systems data and in addition to other systems that integrate with HR data. It also involves data reconciliation and data administration duties varying in complexity, utilizing various HCM modules and various internal/external systems and related interfaces. Position is in an open working environment with high volume of deadline driven work. Overtime and some weekend work may be required at times during the year.

Role Description:

- Interacts with all levels and groups within the organization to implement, support, and maintain HR Systems data.
- Facilitates resolution to employee data issues.
- Responsible for all HR data management, including but not limited to data entry and analysis.
- Develops and maintains a set of standard queries and reports for end users to run, suggest new reports as needed, assure accuracy of all delivered data; develop adhoc requests for specific data as needed.
- Recognizes customer service delivery issues; recommend and implement solutions to meet service level indicators.
- Maintains foundation HRIS tables and provides data entry support to escalations.

Detailed Responsibilities:

- Maintain data integrity in HR systems by running queries and analyzing data.
- Review and manage HR data change requests and process corrections within various (HCM, Financial, Payroll and Learning Management) systems.
- Troubleshoot customer and system issues including error messages, log-in difficulties, access denials, data issues, and process failures in HR Systems. Troubleshoots system errors, both back-end and customer-facing.
- Set-up and modify configuration as needed or requested. Audits system configurations and system processes.
- Assist and direct the service center representatives in handling and following up on HR data related inquiries.
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements and specifications and assist in completing testing as needed.
- Provide input for designing and maintaining system configuration, specifications, and review, research, and recommend updates and fixes for HR Systems.
- Ensure compliance with established process and procedures in an effort to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

:
Required Education / Experience:

- High School and two or more years related experience.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
- Prior experience with HR and/or Financial system(s) preferred.
- Analytical ability with track record of troubleshooting and problem solving in related subject matter within systems and data
- Demonstrated ability to answer technical questions for non-technical users and translate technical concepts into simple terms
- Ability to anticipate challenges and issues and minimize disruption or impact by proactively implementing effective solutions
- Self-starter that excels in a team oriented environment
- Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of service center technology
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings
