Job Description

The Workday Quality team is seeking experienced managers who are passionate about quality and technology; people who want to work with up-to-date tool sets and modern testing methodologies. We put heavy emphasis and value on testing. We design and build our own test tools, which have helped us achieve unparalleled customer satisfaction over the years.

You will lead a dynamic team of quality assurance engineers dedicated to delivering quality for a new generation of on-demand solutions designed to meet the needs of today's global businesses, built using the most modern technologies and development methodologies, providing an unparalleled level of agility, ease-of-use, and integration capability. This position requires a self-motivated professional with dynamic, hands-on functional QA testing experience, as well as proven management experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead team to develop and execute test plans for capabilities of Workday Payroll
  • Set priorities for team and assign resources
  • Provide regular status against team's test plans
  • Contribute to process improvement and establishing best practices for testing
  • Interact effectively with other teams, including Product Management and Development
  • Actively participate in talent acquisition and on-boarding
  • Mentor team members, including assisting with career growth and personal development

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years managing teams, preferably in quality assurance
  • 5+ years Payroll or Financial software application experience
  • Strong functional knowledge in U.S. or Canadian Payroll
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience building relationships across teams, such as Development and Product Management
  • Proven experience delivering high quality software products within a full development life-cycle
  • Test Automation experience is a plus
  • A college degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Attitude and aptitude to be successful in a growing company
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment
