The PT Specialist II role has the opportunity to rotate through various departments within Accounting and learn about aspects of the business while supporting business needs.

Position Requirements

As a PT Specialist II in Accounting, you are responsible for:
Researching and resolving aging/open items, processing invoices for payment, including reviewing supporting documents and approvals against payment requests
Performing basic accounting functions: running queries, data entry into PeopleSoft or other internal systems, reconciling general ledger accounts and preparing monthly general ledger entries
Providing customer service support to internal and external customers, assisting with issue resolution
Other tasks as assigned may include, but are not limited to, small scope business research or participation in process improvement initiatives

  • Minimum of 2+ years of business experience (i.e. bookkeeping, retail cash management, office experience, debits/credit, payroll, data entry) or a related business degree required
  • General understanding of basic accounting concepts and account reconciliation experience preferred, demonstrated math aptitude required
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel preferred (i.e. filtering, v-lookups, subtotals, shortcuts)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
