Job Description

Our Corporate Office in The Woodlands, Texas is seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to join our team in support of our recent Workday implementation across HCM and Recruiting platforms.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The position will be responsible for providing support  in the Workday platform, primarily focused on business process routing, security requirements, complex integrations, custom reports and other application development. This individual will provide functional and technical support on day-to-day business process initiatives and new implementations. The optimal candidate will have prior Workday implementation experience, functional design documentation, writing and drawing process flows, customizing, testing and implementing system changes in a hands-on manner and will be familiar with payroll and human capital business processes.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather requirements to support changes to Workday functionality including integrations and configuration.  Transform business requirements into functional requirements and technical designs.
  • Perform required Unit testing, Functional Acceptance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and adhere to required change management procedures, and train end users as appropriate.
  • Responsible for deployment management of changes between Workday tenants and ensuring that changes are properly tested / approved, and migrated to production.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hands-on development or system customization experience with Workday
  • Understands eligibility rules, condition rules, and validation
  • Oversee the rollout of Workday releases
  • Understands Organizations and Hierarchies within Workday
  • Works to align business, HR, and Payroll strategies with Workday functionality
  • Understands overall security administration, domain security, and business process policy security
  • Ability to think big picture, identify risks, identify opportunities, and recommend enhancements
  • Experience gathering requirements, writing functional designs, drawing process flows, uses cases, and writing test cases.
  • Knowledge of Requirements definition and realization.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources, Time and Attendance, Payroll, and Financial Accounting processes preferred
  • Understanding of Payroll and Time and Attendance data as well as integration with the Workday Payroll solution.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team with partners from multiple departments and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively.
